Terms of Use
Effective 13 June 2026 | Updated 14 June 2026
These terms apply to use of Meal Planner. By using the app, an adult user agrees to these terms for themselves and for child profiles they create or supervise.
Purpose of the app
Meal Planner helps users organise meals, recipes and shopping lists. It does not provide medical, nutritional or allergy advice. Users remain responsible for checking ingredients, dietary suitability, food safety and information obtained from third-party recipe websites.
Accounts and family groups
- Account information must be accurate and sign-in credentials must be kept secure.
- A family administrator controls invitations, roles, shared information and child-profile permissions.
- Family codes should be shared only with intended household members.
- The administrator must have authority to create and manage each child profile.
- Users must not upload unlawful, abusive or inappropriate pictures or content.
Child profiles
Child profiles are parent-managed and designed for limited household access. A parent or guardian is responsible for supervising the child's use. A child picture can be enabled only by the family administrator and is restricted to members of that family group.
Acceptable use
Users must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with the service, introduce malicious code, abuse invitations, impersonate another person, scrape the service, or use the app to infringe another person's rights.
Third-party services
The app relies on services supplied by Google and may open recipe websites chosen by adult users. Those services and websites have their own terms. Availability of those services is outside the developer's complete control.
Availability and changes
The app may change as features are improved or legal and technical requirements develop. Reasonable efforts are made to protect stored data and keep the service available, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Users should keep independent copies of information they cannot afford to lose.
Account suspension and termination
Access may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse or maintain service security. Users may delete their account at any time through Account settings.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for indirect loss, third-party recipe content, purchasing decisions, dietary consequences, or loss caused by use outside the app's intended purpose.
